With Echoes of the Past, Scarlet Anger present their fourth album, featuring a total of nine songs. As always, the recording took place at the studio of our guitarist Fred Molitor, who was also responsible for the mixing.

The mastering was handled by Tony Lindgren at the renowned Fascination Street Studios in Sweden. We have had a very positive experience working with the studio, as our album Freak Show was also mastered there.

Musically, Echoes of the Past takes us in a somewhat more modern and adventurous direction. Our thrash metal roots are still very much present, but this time we move further towards modern thrash metal, experimenting with new elements and exploring different musical approaches. Our goal was to develop our sound without losing our identity.

As a band, you naturally continue to evolve over the years, and this evolution is reflected in the songs on the new album. The tracks sound more modern, mature, and diverse. Rather than simply repeating what we have done before, we wanted to explore new possibilities and add fresh dimensions to our music.

The cover artwork was designed by Fred Molitor and brought to life visually by Jeff Buchette. Jeff, who is also a guitarist in Scarlet Anger, was additionally responsible for the booklet design.

With Echoes of the Past, we want to show where Scarlet Anger stand today: a band that remains true to its roots while continuing to evolve musically and having the courage to explore new directions.
